Gratitude is a gift and a decision.  A decision to look for the good in any situation.   Focusing on the good of “what is” is a blessing to you and all the lives you might touch.   My grandmother was the epitome of gratitude.  Up to the day she passed away at 94 years old, when asked how she was doing – she responded, “I couldn’t be better” or “this is the best day ever.”   Her gratitude and decision to feel blessed did not waiver as she moved from living in a mansion to Bed B in a nursing home.  Her gratitude was constant over the years – and it rolled off her lips with the same grace and smile – regardless of her surroundings.  Perfect grace. I was blessed to witness in her, gratitude at its best.
